Documented impact
We report the work we can document and keep the numbers disciplined. These two 2026 field programmes show EMPORA’s approach in practice.
Tudu, Accra · 30 May 2026 — More than 200 community members participated in EMPORA’s documented medical screening. The programme combined community mobilisation, health education, screening for HIV, hypertension and other priority health conditions, identification of people requiring further assessment, and referral/linkage to appropriate healthcare services.
Taifa Community School, Accra · 2026 — EMPORA delivered menstrual and adolescent-health education aimed at approximately 75 adolescent girls and provided sanitary products. The session addressed menstrual hygiene, puberty, nutrition, self-care, dignity, confidence and when to seek healthcare.
Numbers matter, but responsible community health also means dignity, confidentiality, appropriate referral and learning that improves the next intervention.
